University of Maryland. At Bearden HS, she was the 2005 and 2006 TISCA State Champion in the 100 fly, State record holder in 100 fly, and a National Qualifier in the 100 and 200 fly. She shares the title of 2000 Jacobssen '06, and Sara McCall '05. Ben Royer '06 has accepted the Dean’s Scholarship at Maryville College. Royer is a 2006 graduate of Bearden High School. He will enroll at Maryville College as a member of the Class of 2010. While at Bearden High School Royer served as Key Club president and captain of the AquaDog swim team. Royer also received scholarships from the BHS Foundation and Kiwanis Club of West Knoxville in recognition of his leadership, service and academic accomplishments.
